THE VALUE OF THE CRASH
By BIG Sean Madigan
Imagine
you throw your fastest jab right at your opponent's face. You love the
jab; you love it so much that you kind of consider it 'your' move. You
set people up with it, you do damage with it, you scare opponents with
it, in fact, and you can do just about anything you want with it. Now,
imagine again throwing that fantastic jab at your opponent, and it does
nothing! Worse then that, imagine throwing it, and you find yourself
getting HIT each and every time you throw it! How can this be?
Why isn't it working for you as it always worked in the past? My God, I
may lose this fight you will start to think!
This confused, scared mindset is exactly what you will do to your
opponent once you perfect the CRASH! What is the crash? The crash is a
strategy that I use and teach against opponent's that have much faster
hands then me, and who like to punch. We train ourselves to pick up
certain movements that indicate to us at "BIG JKD" when you are about to
throw that 'perfect jab' and we intercept your jab with an attack of our
own.
Nothing will take the wind out of your opponent's sail like completely
taking away his number one game. It will drive him/her nuts to know that
not only are you not afraid of their jab, you are counting on it. This
is interception folks, plain and simple.
Wait until you see the look on your opponent's face as you are blasting
away. All this of course as they are going with there "A" game. This
tool is a cool 'must have'.
